Age, Survive and Thrive
23 Long Term Survivors of the AIDS epidemic used their Bodyscapes Experience to continue their community’s proud history of marrying the arts to social activism with their heartfelt, profound and politically aware poetry and drawings. The gallery exhibition following the workshop began and ended with ceremonies highlighted by the artists reading their poems, events that became much anticipated and well attended within the San Francisco Bay Area HIV community.
